This full turnkey, design, and construction of a new approx. 51,500 sqft aircraft hangar, includes approx. 6,700 sqf of office space.  The project involved all civil & site work, architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems. The project also included a custom designed pre-engineered steel building with all doors and windows including a 150-foot wide by 28 foot tall 6-panel rolling steel hangar door.  There is an additional 80,000+ sqft of asphalt apron for aircrafts and a parking lot for 135 vehicles.  This project was built right next to the existing Chartright hangar at the Waterloo International Airport that was originally also built as a Design Build project by Aveiro in 2011 noted as the Waterloo Hangar in the case studies pages.  This new facility was built in such a way to support the business operations of Chartright Air Group to be able to utilize both buildings for the client flow in the new building and aircraft preparation and service in the original hangar.
